MTV BASE HOSTS AFRICAN DAY CONCERT WITH MAJOR ARTISTS IN AFRICA

MTV Base and Youtube are working together to celebrate Africa Day by hosting an Africa Day Benefit Concert, #AtHome. This concert will be hosted by Idris Elba and will feature major African artists such as Sho Madjozi, AKA, Burna Boy and so many more so be sure to tune in!

Africa Day is a day we use to celebrate our successes of the Organization of African Unity (OAU now the AU) Which was established on 25 may 1963 Which fought against apartheid and colonialism

On the 25th of May, be sure to tune in on YouTube, at 6PM CAT you will need to go to youtube.com/mtvbaseafrica322 and on DSTV, tune in to MTV Base channel 322 at 9PM CAT.

It's all about celebrating but also acknowledge all the challenges and the progress that has been made in overcoming those very challenges and those that still exist
